Hello, I’m delighted to be joining the team as coordinator at Camp ArteFab. Since I was very young, art and drawing have always been my passions. My notebooks are overflowing with characters and landscapes. Working with children is a source of joy for me, which is why I have a degree in special education. I can’t wait to share this passion with them this summer. I look forward to meeting you!

Primary Specialist for the 5 – 6 years old

Growing up surrounded by all kinds of art forms,
Mélia Martin has been involved in the arts from an early age. She will soon be graduating from the Conservatory of Music Gatineau in flute (class of 2018), Mélia is also a ballet dancer and passionate about singing and music production. Mélia will be continuing her studies at the University of Ottawa in interdisciplinary arts.

Stéphanie Milot
Steaf is a cartoonist, illustrator and screenwriter. She graduated from the ÉMI at the Université du Québec en Outaouais in Art and Design with a concentration in comics in 2023. She’s currently working on youth comics contracts, and looking forward to joining the team at Camp ArteFab!

As a passionate Arts educator, I am thrilled to be joining the team at Camp ArteFab! I have Bachelor degrees in Education, Fine Arts, and Art History and have been working with children and their families in the Outaouais region for nearly 20 years. I can’t wait to meet your budding artists so we can create, learn, and explore together!

Wade Vienneau
Wade Vienneau has been studying clay for over ten years, is an alumnus of Haliburton School of The Arts and is currently attending Sheridan College. He has been focused on exploring reduction firing porcelain and classic glazes, teaching throwing and hand building, and exploring wood fired ceramics.

Shawn Moreton
is an award-winning professional photographer and artist based in Cantley, Québec, Canada. Working in both film & digital photography, block printing, ceramic arts, and AI art, he has an endless curiosity that drives him to create across various genres.

Carolynne Ball
As a dedicated music educator and ensemble director, Carolynne Ball brings a wealth of experience and a passion for fostering creativity and inclusivity in arts education. Currently serving as a music educator at Symmes-D’Arcy McGee High School in Gatineau, Carolynne leads two bands and a vocal ensemble while also teaching specialist music classes in guitar performance, theory, and instrumental playing.

Romi Caron
Born in Czechia into the family of an architect and art therapy teacher, Romi studied at a High school of fine art and then at Brno, University of Fine Art in Prague. In 1990, Romi moved to Canada and since then has worked mostly as a children’s book illustrator and art teacher in the Ottawa capital region. She has illustrated more than 90 books.

Ginie Petit
Ginie is a multidisciplinary artist and a trained ceramicist originally from France. Initially a muralist artist in schools in the Toronto area, life led them to settle in Ottawa to teach arts in a school for deaf, deaf blind and neurodiverse children. Their experiences make Ginie the multifaceted artist who compliments various artistic forms by integrating their work across mediums.

Emily Rudenberg
My love for fashion design started when I was a professional ballerina wearing beautiful costumes. After retiring from dancing, I attended the Richard Robinson Academy in Ottawa, where I learned how to draw, design and sew garments. In the past 10 years, I have been both designing clothing and teaching sewing classes to local students of all ages.

Andria Hinton
I have been a teacher for 20 years and love kids. I’ve enjoyed being involved in summer camps because I love camp too! I’ve been quilting, crocheting, cross-stitching, embroidering and felting for many, many hours of my life… and I can’t wait to get the kids “hooked”

Kay Kerman
As a teenager I loved to weave both traditional patterns and abstract imaginative designs on a small table or handmade loom and sell them from a kiosk in Old Montreal in the summertime. Covering pillows with embroidered designs and stitching fabric on clothes to add some flair was another interest. Now as an adult, I still love to create, using lots of colour and beautiful textiles
