This week-long intensive course, “Shaping Stories in Clay: Ceramic Sculpture and Narrative,” is designed for beginners, intermediate, and advanced artists interested in blending the tactile art of ceramic sculpture with the power of personal storytelling.
Participants will explore hand-building techniques to create sculptural forms that embody narratives – drawing from personal experiences, myths, folklore, or imaginative tales.
The course emphasizes intuitive creation, where each sculpture becomes a vessel for storytelling, incorporating elements like symbolic forms, textured surfaces, and narrative sequences. The workshop will be offered bilingually in English and French.
