Get ready for an afternoon packed with creativity, games, and an awesome Anime adventure! This POPP Jr Trio! session is perfect for kids who love stories, drawing, and exciting new experiences.

We’ll start with a hands-on anime drawing workshop, where kids can bring their favorite manga and anime characters to life. It’s a super fun chance to experiment with cool art styles in a supportive, creative space.

Then, we’ll dive into the movie The Boy and the Beast, written and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Mamoru Hasoda, which won Animation of the Year at the 37th Japan Academy Prizes. Join Ren, a lonely boy from Tokyo, as he discovers a wild beast world called Jutengai and becomes the apprentice—and “surrogate son”—of Kumatetsu, a talented (but a little mischievous!) warrior beast on a quest to become the next Grandmaster. Together, they go on an epic journey full of friendship, courage, and adventure.
