Virtuosity meets curiosity in this unique program by Puerto Rican-Canadian clarinetist Juan Gabriel Olivares and Finnish accordionist Matti Pulkki, member of the popular classical crossover group, Quartteto Gelato.  These two, multi-disciplinary performers are each masters of their instruments and aim to captivate audiences by showcasing their instruments’ full expressive range and versatility.  Both musicians drift easily between classical, jazz and global genres and share a passion for imaginative arrangements which  they have created for this show.

In Panamericana, Juan draws on his Puerto Rican-Canadian heritage and wide-ranging international career, to do a deep dive into the sonic fizz that happens when cultural traditions meet and mix.

Get ready for an enchanting and exhilarating musical journey.
