Do you love to Move to music?
Come be part of a dance and music lab experience, co-presented by La Fab sur Mill and Danse
Chelsea Dance.  No previous experience required! Just a desire to play, to perform, to be part of a
creative process, and jump into the unknown. You’ll be working with a professional dance artist and a
music artist in four weekly rehearsals during the month of May to create a production for May 30 th .
Ages 8 and up (We’re looking for a multigenerational cast)

To be part of MOVE! Dance and Music Lab, you must be available for al weekly rehearsals running
from May 2-May 30.During a series of 4 x 3 hour workshop/ rehearsals, led by dance artist Jocelyn
Todd (dance artist) in with musician Bruce Cawdron, you will be part of the creative process making a
10 minute dance and music piece performed by up to 30 youth and community members
 Develop new artistic and technical skills in movement and performance.
 Work with professional choreographers and musicians.
 Gain experience in collaboration, performance and stage presentation.
 Build confidence and leadership through creative expression.

The final performance will feature both youth and professional dance artists,
highlighting the growth, creativity, and teamwork developed throughout the
project. The performance will be free and open to the public, celebrating the
region’s vibrant artistic community and encouraging families to engage with the
performing arts.
 We  have space for up to 30 community members to participate.

 Saturday, May 2nd 12:30-3:30pm

 Sunday, May 10h: 12:30-3:30pm

 May 16th: 9:00-12:00pm

 May 23rd: 9:00-12:00pm

 May 30th: 9-6pm (3 hours tech and a performance) exact call time to be announced

 PERFORMANCE: May 30  at 4pm
