A Photography Festival at La Fab

From February 21 to June 1, 2025, La Fab is staging a 3-part series of solo shows of photographic art. This series plumbs the relationship of photo art and memory.

• John Parkes longitudinal study of the remnants of ‘street bills’ – outdoor posters promoting everything from movies to political parties – presents a layered cross-section of social memory.
• Sylvain Després’ unique digital algorithms warp space and subject matter into beautiful impressions freeing the viewer’s subconscious to roam memories of nature.
• Finally, Marc André Laurin takes us on a journey to the forgotten land of Mongolia – a bridge between the past and our fraught modern world.
