Over this six‑week series, you’ll explore foundational principles of Tai Chi and experience how this gentle internal martial art can bring greater ease to your everyday movements. Whether you’re brand new or returning to your practice, you’ll develop skills that support not only future Tai Chi study but also your overall physical, emotional, and mental well‑being. Each session offers practical tools to help you feel more balanced, grounded, and at home in your body.

Tai Chi for Ease and Fluidity
Enhance your body and postural awareness through five key alignment points from head to toe. These principles support smoother, more effortless movement—both in Tai Chi and in daily life.
March 9 & 16
Tai Chi for Strength and Stability
Develop natural leg strength and confidence by tuning into your body mechanics. You’ll be introduced to foundational warm‑ups, stances, and movements that build stability from the ground up.
March 23 & 30
Tai Chi: The Yin–Yang Continuum
The yin‑yang symbol, or taijitu, reflects the heart of Tai Chi philosophy: the dynamic balance of complementary forces. Explore how Tai Chi movements embody this interplay, helping you avoid tension, collapse, or overextension while cultivating harmony in motion.
About the Instructor
Wendy Williams is known for her patience, sincerity, and gentle sense of humour. She began practicing Tai Chi in 1993 and is the founder, president, and creative force behind Tài jí Life®. Along with her partner, Denis Bossé, she co‑founded Wenden Taijiquan, where they continue to teach Tai Chi in Wakefield and Rupert, Québec.
