$5 entry fee (free if you perform!) at 7:00 PM (sign-up starts at 6:30). We pass the hat for the Guest Artist. Cash & “Square” payment system. Snack bar & drinks available. Proceeds are donated to the community.

Stewart Gillis learned piano the traditional way as a kid—years of lessons, practice, and mild trauma—only to realize later he couldn’t actually play much of anything. Fortunately, his journey continued as a professional classical, jazz, and pop singer. These days he also accompanies himself on the piano happily (and convincingly) with his own far simpler system, described in his book, Effortless Piano—proof that sometimes the easy way is the best way.
