Ever wanted to try your hand at making pottery on the potter’s wheel? This 2.5-hour workshop is perfect for beginners who want to discover the art of wheel throwing.
During this workshop, you will learn
- How to prepare clay for throwing
- Basic clay centering techniques
- How to open and pull walls
- Fundamental throwing principles
- How to properly clean your workspace
You will create a small pot or bowl that you will be able to pick up after firing.
All materials are provided, including clay and tools. Each participant will leave with his or her creation, which will be available for pickup approximately four weeks after the course.
This course will be held in English.

Minimum Participation Policy
A minimum of 3 participants is required to hold the workshop. La Fab sur Mill reserves the right to cancel the event if there are not enough registrations. In this case, a full refund will be issued.
Refund Policy
Full refund minus a $10 processing fee for cancellations made 7 days or more before the event. No refunds possible for cancellations made within 6 days of the event.
