Premiers Tours — atelier d’initiation au tournage
Rejoignez-nous pour une introduction à la poterie au tour. Cet atelier de 2,5 heures est parfait pour les débutants qui souhaitent découvrir l’art de la poterie au tour.
Durant cet atelier, vous apprendrez :
- Comment préparer l’argile pour le tournage
- Les techniques de base du centrage de l’argile
- Comment ouvrir et lever les parois
- Les principes fondamentaux du tournage
- Comment nettoyer correctement son espace de travail
Vous créerez un petit pot ou bol que vous pourrez récupérer après un délai de cuisson.
Tous les matériaux sont fournis, y compris l’argile et les outils. Chaque participant repartira avec sa création qui sera disponible pour récupération environ 4 semaines après le cours.
Ce cours se déroulera en anglais.

Politique de participation minimum
Un minimum de 3 participants est requis pour tenir l’atelier. La Fab sur Mill se réserve le droit d’annuler l’événement s’il n’y a pas suffisamment d’inscriptions. Dans ce cas, un remboursement complet sera émis.
Politique de remboursement
Remboursement complet moins des frais de traitement de 10 $ pour les annulations faites 7 jours ou plus avant l’événement. Aucun remboursement possible pour les annulations faites dans les 6 jours précédant l’événement.
First Spins—Wheel Throwing Workshop
Join us for an introduction to pottery on the wheel. This 2.5-hour workshop is perfect for beginners who want to discover the art of wheel throwing.
During this workshop, you will learn
- How to prepare clay for throwing
- Basic clay centring techniques
- How to open and pull walls
- Fundamental throwing principles
- How to properly clean your workspace
You will create a small pot or bowl that you will be able to pick up after firing.
All materials are provided, including clay and tools. Each participant will leave with his or her creation, which will be available for pickup approximately four weeks after the course.
This course will be held in English.

Minimum Participation Policy
A minimum of 3 participants is required to hold the workshop. La Fab sur Mill reserves the right to cancel the event if there are not enough registrations. In this case, a full refund will be issued.
Refund Policy
Full refund minus a $10 processing fee for cancellations made 7 days or more before the event. No refunds possible for cancellations made within 6 days of the event.
