Gelli printing is a fun and versatile technique, perfect for mixed media, backgrounds, and adding texture. Prints can be embellished, cut, sewn, layered, collaged, stamped, and applied to different surfaces. In this workshop with instructor Anne Warburton, participants will explore various techniques, including preparing backgrounds, using mark-making tools, and printing with textured materials. Play and experimentation are encouraged! Participants will take home a collection of unique prints and can purchase their own 6×6 gel plate for a small fee. This class is great for beginners or anyone looking to reconnect with their gel plate.
Materials are included, although you are encouraged to bring any acrylics or special papers you want to use.

Anne Warburton is an accomplished artist whose innovative work transforms repurposed materials into dynamic, textural compositions. She has served as co-chair of the Out of the Box Fibre Artists and has a background in expressive arts therapies that enriches both her practice and art classes.
