Theme:
Create small reflective art pieces that bring light, color, and movement to the Voie Verte DIAL sculpture—adding a playful sparkle and evolving visual experience throughout the seasons.
Process:
We’ll begin with a brief introduction to safely working with foil, wire, and simple tools. Participants will explore embossing and colouring techniques, then experiment with their own designs—shapes, symbols, or words—using practice materials before creating their final piece.
All materials are provided, including pre-cut, site-inspired foil shapes.
At 2:00 PM, we’ll move to the Voie Verte station to install both 2D and 3D creations onto the DIAL sculpture “Holding Histories”. Final wire placement will be adapted on-site to suit each chosen location and structure.
What to Expect:
A hands-on, creative, and collaborative experience for all ages—full of colour, texture, and discovery. The finished pieces will add a “sparkle” to the sculpture, inviting a playful seek-and-find experience for visitors.
What to Bring:
Dress for outdoor conditions (spring weather may be wet—boots recommended).
